INTERNAL COMPLAINTS COMMITTEE (POSH)

  • To ensure a safe, respectful and gender-sensitive environment free from sexual harassment, where every individual feels protected, valued and empowered.

  • To prevent sexual harassment through awareness, sensitization, and capacity building programmes.

  • To provide a fair, transparent, confidential, and time-bound redressal mechanism for all complaints

  • To uphold dignity, equality, and safety across all educational, clinical, and residential spaces of the institution.

  • To continuously monitor, review, and strengthen institutional policies fostering a culture of respect and zero tolerance toward harassment of any kind.

Objectives

Awareness and Sensitization:

To conduct regular awareness programs on prevention of sexual harassment.

Safe Environment:

To ensure a secure and gender-sensitive atmosphere across the institution.

Redressal Mechanism:

To provide a confidential and impartial system for receiving and addressing complaints.

Action and Compliance:

To recommend appropriate action and maintain essential records and reports.

Monitoring and Reporting:

To periodically review and strengthen institutional preventive measures
