The Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga is committed to the promotion of preventive and promotive healthcare as described in Ayurveda. The department emphasizes “Swasthasya Swasthya Rakshanam” — preservation of health — through structured academic teaching, practical training, and community engagement.
It integrates classical Ayurvedic regimens such as Dinacharya, Ritucharya, Sadvritta, and Yoga with modern public health concepts to develop competent Ayurvedic professionals dedicated to holistic well-being.
