The Anti-Ragging Squad is available on campus to ensure a safe, ragging-free environment.

Students can report incidents with their identity. Every complaint is addressed with sensitivity, confidentiality, and prompt action.

Legal Awareness Session Conducted to educate students on IPC provisions, legal consequences, and ethical responsibilities related to ragging.

An awareness programme on “Legal Framework Against Ragging” was conducted for UG students, Interns, and PG scholars to sensitise them about the legal and ethical consequences of ragging and to promote a safe campus environment.
The resource person explained key legal provisions under the Indian Penal Code, including sections related to physical and mental harassment, intimidation, and criminal liability.
Students were informed about the academic and legal consequences of ragging, such as suspension, expulsion, cancellation of admission, and criminal prosecution.
The roles and responsibilities of students, along with the functions of the Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad, were clearly outlined, emphasising the duty to report incidents.
Real-life case examples were shared to highlight how even minor acts of ragging can lead to serious legal repercussions, reinforcing zero tolerance towards ragging.
Active student interaction and queries enhanced awareness regarding complaint procedures, victim protection, and institutional support mechanisms.
