About the Department
The Department of Samhita Siddhanta and sanskrit serves as the philosophical and foundational pillar of Ayurvedic education, anchoring students in the classical principles that govern the science of life. The department delivers structured teaching across all the years of the BAMS programme, covering seven core papers that systematically introduce and elaborate the doctrines of Ayurveda as described in the classical Samhitas.
