The Herbal medicinal plants garden of the institute is one of its kinds in the field of Ayurveda. One among the largest in terms of the flora cultivated and propagated which includes many endangered and red listed plants. Established in the new campus in 1995, now more than 520 species of medicinal plants of more than 100 families are grown in an area of 8 acres. Specialized areas of representation like Navagraha Vana started in the year 2001, Nakshatra vana and Shivapanchayatana in the year 2002. Human body is represented by various plants specifically used for the ailments of respective anatomical part.
